Over the years, we’ve had to sunset a number of validators because it was clear that the protocols were unlikely to achieve the goals they had stated at launch. For some networks this was more obvious, and others less so.
However, joining the list of Passage, Cerberus, Mars, and others are two protocols we still have faith in, but limited capacity in terms of time to maintain or run.
So we are announcing that our validators on Juno and Stargaze will be turned off at the end of October. Please redelegate before October 25th.
Because of the additional capacity and signing setup we believe is best-practice, these networks have not been profitable for a long time, and we can no longer run them at a loss indefinitely.
To the teams and communities, we say good luck, it has been a wild ride.
We will of course continue to operate in other ecosystems, and may return to the Cosmos at some point.
